Be artistic

If you're artistic, create poems, drawings or paintings dedicated to him/her (directly metioning you loved one's name). You can even frame your proposal or the words " I love you" or whatever, and reserve this for the last display. But inexpensive but large frames where you can put the art works in. Then, collaborate with people who can give you access to long, gallery-looking hallways (maybe in your office), so you can hang your frames even for one day. Tell him/her there's an art exibit you want to go to, and bring him/her there; the timing will be better if there will be other people viewing the exibit on its "unveiling night".
